o.k. folks, there are a few things on this border crisis that are bothering me. first off, kids with tattoos of mara slavadoerno 13 or los rasa locos around their necks or on their shoulders are not, repeat NOT, refugee children! they are gangsters, they have killed, many of them are on the run from either the policia of their homeland, and, or, other gangs that theyve jumped from. roughly 50% of the current border crossers fall into this demographic, so get it straight; they are not mere refugees! secondly, as was pointed out by one of you, george h.w. signed a law protecting illegal immigrant youths.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, why????? thirdly, and most importantly, is the disease factor. this is a weird one. i dont know if there is some contagion that has jumped from the middle east to central america, or if something has emerged there, but the quarantining, and the sudden surge, (which has been under way since january), and the treatment at detention centers, and the lack of info coming out of any of the responsible agencies such as cdc, or who, or cidrap, is,,,,,, disturbing. while there is a geopolitical/tactical/strategic component to this, there is also something deeper, and a whole lot worse. this sudden surge was caused by more than just international recognition of americas democratic partys spinelessness when it comes to law enforcement; there is a compelling need for these people to come here, and the gangsters are best connected, so there are more of them. but what, is that compelling need?
