oh i cant believe ive only just woke up over the past 35 years ive been on pirate radio on and off here and there set up a few stations in my time and had some studios in some obscure places it was a few years ago now when i put dream fm back on the air waves and had a couple of different studios and one comes to mind it was in my friends spare room in kilburn and he used to let things go off you know LOUD MUSIC all hours and different djs coming in all through the night some misbehaving bringing friends to radio on a number of occasions i can remember coming back and throwing every one out as they was having a party in there rather that being a studio and taking advantage of mos good nature he said didnt mind as he liked the music but i wouldnt have it i knew mo for well the past 28 years and always popped in for a cup of tea and a chat he used to let me get my nut down if i was lets say caught out for the night and didnt have a place to go to in the past 10 years or so i havent seen him as much as i used to as i dont live in London any more and dont get to see many people that i used to know i was in London this weekend and drove past his road on Saturday night and thought i must pop in and see him any rate just as i was getting ready to leave last night had a phone call from a close friend telling me that mo had sadly passed away at the age of 79 yesterday morning i knew some one close to me was going to pass for reasons i wont go in to but diddnt think it would be mo had some great memories with him and as i drove to his place last night and got out of my car to say goodbye in my way and thanked him for being a friend and putting up with me for the many years i knew him i said my peace and opened my car door up and took one last look i could here the sound of tapping on the gutter and looked up and saw the band one aerial sticking out from it must of come down in the strong winds over the years and then i kissed my hand and blew him a kiss and said goodby god bless ya mo a real good friend and happy guy and a great mate always gave me good advice straight from the heart and always looked straight in my eyes when talking to me im going to miss my friend from Cuba who was born in hull in 1935 and sadly passed in kilburn 2014 your dancing in the clouds now fella rest in peace Mo xxxxxx
