oh my god! this is the most exciting read ive had in awhile. ethnic slurs deeply tickle my soul...and all on one page. cant believe some of the words people have come up with to make themselves feel better. especially goofing on abo/boong referring to an aboriginal person. just keep rereading some of these imagining what someones face from the 1950s or 1840s looked like saying them. my grandad, who was a nice educated man, would refer to a black man as nigga-fella. i remember as a kid thinking how ridiculous it sounded in conversation to sincerely use what sounded like a baby-talk clown name instead of man. ignorance +or- hate = disconnected entertainment (among other things). incidentally, i served a group of charlie last night at work.
