ok, I have the number 10 for things you all might not know about me... 1. I am afraid of horses cuz they will eat me (true story) 2. I have never seen an ocean, but do plan to one day.. however, I do not plan on entering the water cuz way too many things are going on under the surface that you just cant see (again, they might eat me) so, I will walk along the shoreline and take in the beauty.. then leave.. no boating, no ships, no swimming, nope I am good on shore thank you very much :) 3. I used to be such a diet pepsi addict that I would risk serious bodily injury to save my pop in the event of me falling rather than drop my mug, possibly spilling it and wasting it.... 4. I am very visual internally, like I see the words I am saying or spell words others are saying as they are talking kinda like a type writer line.... which sucks when I get stuck on a word I dont know.... however, I fear losing my hearing more than I fear going blind 5. speaking of hearing, all of my audiologists have been amazed at my super freaky good hearing over the years.. apparently, I can hear very high tones as well as very quiet noises in contrast to the general population... which is kinda amazing cuz I have constant ringing in my right ear and near constant whooshing in my left. I do have a problem with clarity of understanding at lower tones though, which is why I have to see my youngest sons lips to know what he is saying most of the time LOL drives him nuts because although I can hear him, I just cant discern his words all of the time. 6. speaking of sound... I also somehow equate my pain with noise.. so like acute, sharp pains, I like would describe as high pitched or like a bow being brought quickly and repeatedly across a violin string... so I have to think of how to change the wording to get othe4rs to understand and speak their language, but the first way I think of pain is as a tone... 7. I always spell grey like that... I have since I was little, I just like the way it looks compared to with an a ... I would take the wrong answer on spelling tests just cuz I liked this way better and still spell it grey :) 8. speaking of grey, I do not mind all of the tons of greys in my hair, however, I do not like how brown my hair is on top... so I need to highlight it again just cuz of that, not age lol 9. I am one of the very few people who say the word WAFT correctly (at least in Tanyas world it is correct my way)... I always say waft with a long A and not like woft or wauft o rwhatever you all say LOL and I will argue that it just sounds better my way 10. I made my optometrist laugh last week when I was excited about getting bifocals.... I am just excited to be able to read easier..it doesnt fix the double=ish vision, but sure makes it easier to read when the letters are further apart so the doubles dont all run together :) I also found it just too funny that my far away vision is somewhat better, I asked her thats cuz Im getting old huh? and she agreed it is usually age related when that happens... besides feeling sick a lot, I dont feel old so.... what the heck, my body can age, I refuse to let my mind though :) there ya have it, things you didnt wanna know about me.. and now are gonna make you wonder even more :OP
