The Difference is ........Real wool lining is more comfortable on the horses back,better fit of the saddle,and life span is usually longer.The appearance of real wool is a golden color and softer to touch...Barn rats will eat/chew real wool,saddle ..................Kodel is a durable synthetic product,wears down faster with use,suggested thick saddle pad.Physcial appearance is a lighter yellow with a cloth backing.Barn rats will not eat or chew Kodel for they cant digest it.......Bible verse on wool skin fleece...Judges 6 verse36-37
