okay okay okay..I give .....Yes we are still doing travel ball this year in Garfield Hts. HOWEVER.....we are no longer the Twisters.....Myself and my coaching staff had a very lengthy and productive meeting last Saturday. Myself, Lisa, Coach Anthony, Coach Cope, and Coach Eric Grzybowski have made ALOT of good, positive and fun changes for this up and coming baseball season. We learned ALOT last season. What to do and what not to do. Some are going to happy while others may not be. Travel ball is not for everyone. It is a HUGE commitment not only from the players on the field but also from the coaches, the staff and the parents. It is not cheap. Travel Teams need a lot of $$$$$$. It is either charge a high fee OR fund raise. We are charging a low fee AND fund raising. There is ALOT of behind the scenes stuff that goes on that most dont even realize. So, IF your child comes to try outs on Feb 21-22, 2015 (details to follow) and IF they make the team please know you WILL be asked to help out, you WILL be asked to sell tickets. We have a coaching staff to coach your player. Please come and cheer your player on but leave the coaching to the coaches (yes that is a hard one for me too!) If you have a question or concern or idea ask or tell ME! Dont assume or cause issues. This experience is about the players! It is the job of the VOLUNTEER coaches and VOLUNTEER staff to give the players the tools to enable them to have the best possible experience they can have With that said......please wish your 2015 Garfield Hts Titans a successful season! GOOOOOOOOOO TITANS!
