one of the greatest person i have ever met so far in my life Dr V B Sapre i remember very well how i was checking my applications to him several times before visiting his office , because he always find out some or the other grammar or punctuation error in my letters. & always wrote for me long letters of recommendations for student workshops nd conferences. nd always asked me to pursue whatever i really like to do in my life. always emphasize to have a clearer & solid thinking while pursuing scientific career. My model of managing other people has been derived from his ways of handling other people. nd the teacher who never ever get angry on me even when i did some stupid things ....like once i found myself running the x ray cooling pump in the reverse direction nd i was turned yellow , then red nd then green nd i was scared. for a moment i thought , i was going to be grilled, but all to my surprise , when i reported to him , he was calm nd explained me all kinds of things about x ray machines , vacuum generators , nd so many things of which he has been one of the finest brains in the world. He never discussed with me Einsteins mathematics or greatest theories of cosmology or quantum mechanics , he was always talking of simple things nd analogies that routinely happened around you nd then used that insight to explain more subtle things , so that when we learn complex part of science , we can still have some real sense of the things we learn about , u know , making real sense not just remembering words or equations or superficial tricky talks of mathematics. ugliest things in science is when one to try to express things which are beyond the understanding capacity of oneself. he used to say , physics is not mathematics , but it is always interesting to see how very well the mathematics describe physics with remarkable simplicity. I wish to almighty god for him to have a long nd healthy life & to continue to inspire other talented students who have a potential to make a difference........ to take up scientific career
