opinion needed.....Another child has been left in a hot car..Connecticut now wants to pass harsher punishments for those that leave the child in the car to save lives........This will NOT help save a life as 9 times out of ten the death of the child is a mistake and one mistake that someone will have to suffer with for the rest of their lives..That being said,why not ask child car seat makers to install a pressure sensor on the car seat with an alarm that will sound if the child is left in the car... They make warnings in the car if someone leaves the keys inside so why not one for a car seat?? THAT will save lives,not a jail term or hefty fine.Your thoughts???
