options... Im thinking Im actually going to end up with the 42 panel option I havent wired the money for the panels yet and was reading the racking manuals and comparing them with the measurements on my roof that Chris Herman took with me.. Its not quite as many I as I was hoping for, but I think this is more realistic. The 47 panel option I was wanting to do overhangs the garage by about 5 inches. Id rather not have overhang, and changing the orientation I only loose 2 panels. I think that 5 columns wide is a bit ambitious on the left due to the shade that is caused by the trees directly left of my house. So dropping a row makes sense. Rotating and doing another column (3 columns landscape) gets me 15 panels but is slightly longer, so its not really useful to switch if I was trying for 15 to the left of the skylight. *These are orthographic projections (more similar to blue prints), compared to the perspective projections (more similar to what we see with eyes) that Ive been rendering in.
