oxygen: September 24, 2013 at 9:51 pm (Quote) OUR ECONOMY GENERATED A TAX REVENUE BASE OF $55 BILLION NATIONAL EXPENDITURE but our sovereign wealth funds is much more bigger INVESTMENTS IN ALL SORTS OF BUSINESSES than our economy – HOW COME THAT CANNOT ALSO GENERATE AT LEAST $55 BILLION in income contribution to our national expenditure?? It is NOT a question of how much we spent on military or educational support for foreigners – IT IS A CASE OF OUR SWFs NON-PERFORMANCE that is holding us back from spending on social welfare. THE GOVERNMENT REFUSAL TO FUND WELFARE SPENDING IS OBSCURING THE TRUTH OF FACT THAT OUR SOVEREIGN WEALTH FUNDS ARE UNDER PERFORMING. If we have social welfare of unemployment benefits for the unemployed, do you think this country can last how long more with our SWF having lost tens of billions in the last decade?? Bloggers here all barking up the wrong tree. Is this not true?? MY POINT IS THAT IF WE WANT SOCIAL WELFARE SPENDING ON UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS, WE HAVE TO AGITATE STRONGLY AND CONTINUOUSLY FOR REFORMS in our SWFs to far better performance than its current dismal state. None of the think tanks would dare open their mouths to say one word of this hard truth. Anyone disagreeing?????
