peta2 PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) Vegetarian The following images depict the unjust life of Mona Lisa, an abused White-headed capuchin that needs to be rescued. I am currently traveling through Nicaragua and I came across the terrible abuse of what seems to be a ten month old female White-headed capuchin. This precious and loving creature is chained to a tree, starved, held in complete solitude and physically abused. She is used as an attraction at a vacation rental, perhaps exposing this treatment could help place her in a better environment.
