(please SHARE or LIKE, but sharing is more caring). WE ARE NOW AT 30% OF REACHING OUR GOAL TO BRING THE RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS TO VICTORIA IN 2015. This is looking now like it will really happen and we need your help being a part of the campaign! HAVE YOU EVEN SEEN THE CAMPAIGN VIDEO YET? (click on the screen from the link below to see the video). Here are some frequently asked questions to help you better understand our crowndfunding campaign. To see video, go to campaign site here: https://tilt/campaigns/fanpowered-concerts/description Where does the money go? 1500 tickets @ $100 = $150,000 helps cover the deposits needed for the band, the venue and advertising. This will then allow us to determine a date in Victoria and put tickets on sale. Why did the original goal drop from $500,000 to $150,000? $500,000 is the total cost/budget of the concert. Only $250,000 is needed to confirm a Victoria date with the Red Hot Chili Peppers. This $250k would cover the deposit on the band, venue and advertising allowing us to put tickets on sale and determine a venue and a date. After being approached by an outside investor who will invest $100,000 into the concert, we only need $150,000 more to accomplish our confirming a date. The other $250k needed to cover the other half of the concert expenses would be accomplished through ticket sales and and other outside investors. \ When and where will the show be held? Once we get the go ahead from the band, we have looked into using the Save On Foods Arena, Royal Athletic Park, Bullen Park or the Juan De Fuca Rec Centre Lower fields. Our goal is to make this show happen in 2015. How will I get my ticket? If the concert is indoors, campaign contributors will have first picks of the best reserved seating/floor seats before tickets are sold to the general public. If the concert is outdoors, campaign contributor ticket holders will receive closest section to the stage and will have VIP status. You will need your credit card and other information submitted to the campaign in order to redeem. Each contributor will then be able to pick up their tickets at the assigned box office with identification (driver’s license, credit card). More details will be released once we determine the location of the show. When is my credit card charged? When you make a contribution to the campaign, that money is only “pre-authorized”, which means the amount will come off your credit card balance, but it’s not charged. The actual charge will happen when the concert date and venue are announced. Will there be any extra service charges? There are no more service charges or ticketing fees to be paid beyond the 2.5% credit card processing fee that you pay when the campaign tilts. What advantage do I have getting my ticket through the campaign rather than waiting for tickets to go on sale to the general public? • People who contribute in the campaign will get the best seats at the concert. • The tickets that are released to the general public will be slightly more in price than the campaign tickets. • Tickets sold to the general public will not only be slightly more, but they will also have service charges applied to the ticket price on top.
