We believe that..Sikhs have been severely inhumanely persecuted in India both before 1984 and after. Bhai Jaswant Singh Khalra being a case in point. Young and Old Sikhs, and other minority groups continue to suffer...under a law that is non existent for human rights of ordinary citizens. Sikh prisoners have been found hung, burnt, to death in prisons in last few years. There is no case to answer because they are ordinary people. We want to ask why? We support bhai gurbaksh singh khalsa s campaign for Freedom and Equality..for all. We want sikh and non sikh indian prisoners to be given their lawful rights as humans. Mr Modi stop the persecution of all minorities. Stop denial of rights to prisoners. Free them. We make a promise on behalf of Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa.(hungerstriker)..as we have no real leader or jathedar,....as honest members of Sikh Nation and Humanitarians,..to take forward the Campaign for humanitarian rights of Illegally /detained/Abused Prisoners. We call on Indian State to alleviate Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa of this responsibility, as we do not agree with the need for a human life to be sacrificed in order to send a humanitarian message to the decision makers of the Indian State. We ask all to likewise support this action and call on the Indian State to restore human dignity to an oppressed minority firstly by freeing prisoners who are victims of TADA Law, and have served long sentences. Secondly by retrying others with fair trials, in accordance with UN accepted standards.
