please read... I have received comments from others about testimonies shared in the past, for example I was told once, Well thats great you can say God did all those things for you. Some of us arent that lucky. I want to tell you, that is nonsense. The reason I share what God does in my life is because I want each and every person I speak to, to see how great and awesome our Lord is, & that we, me & YOU, can receive His blessings if we truly, deeply & sincerely seek Him and accept His Son, Jesus. I have not always sought Him. Even though I accepted Christ as my Savior at 5 yrs old while kneeling beside my moms bed, I have turned my back on Him, rebelled against Him, asked Him why me countless times, even screamed out to Him that I hated Him. Although I did that and so much more He was there thru it all, because I was His child the moment I accepted His Son Jesus into my heart; in the depths of fear; in the depths of desperation; in the depths of heartache; He has never left my side. When I realized it is God who has my best interest at heart above all others, it was overwhelming for me; God, Almighty Creator, Lord loves me? Me? It brought tears. Then I thought how am I going to pay Him back? But thats just it, He doesnt want us to pay Him back. All He wants is a deep personal relationship with our heart. We give our hearts to other people, & at one time or another they disappoint us. They always will. He wont. He loves us more than anyone ever could. We are so special to Him. YOU are so special to Him. So I ask you, if you feel like losing control; like you are in the depths of fear-desperation-lonliness-excile from your family-heartbreak; if you feel like you have done too many bad things He couldnt possibly love you; please, read a Bible, look for Him, go to the nearest church and listen for a day, if you seek Him you will find Him; I promise. Will you open the door? Behold I stand at the door (of your heart) and knock: if ANY man hear my voice & open the door, I will come in to Him... Revelation 3:20
