political Revolutions:- the most initial factor in the rise of sociology was the French revolution of 1789 which resulted in a long series of political revolutions which became carried over through the nineteenth century in france, these consequence later extended beyond the frontiers of france and had enormous positive and negative impact on other societies. However, it was not the positive but rather the negative impacts that attracted the attention of classical sociologists of this period.the changes brought about societal chaos and disorder and it was these negattive traits that stimulated a united desire to restore order to society.
