posted for a parent- how do you get speech therapy? my undiagnosed 2 year old has been refused by early intervention, birth-3, Sanford hospital speech therapist..... i dont know where else to keep fighting for him, me and his other parent both feel he needs it and have believed so and pushed for it since 14 months of age( about a year) im tired of everyone saying his speech is fine and turning us away, his words he does say or pronounced accurately for his age, he also has quite a few words what worries us is how selective and rarely he uses them. his birth-3 lady just heard him talk for the 1st time this week other than byebye and yet she has worked with us since last December and says he is fine. i just dont get it anymore and dont know where to go next.
