(posted on Suzannes page, I just changed it up a bit) Dr. Holt called today and Bobbi Jo is doing better. Her temperature is normal and she is responding really well to the additional antibiotic...He is feeling pretty positive about her progress. Suzanne told him to skip calling everyday unless there was a change for the worse. Her blood tests came back and did show that she was fighting some kind of bacterial infection. We all really like this vet. He is miles away and treats us like we live just down the road. Thank you Kelly Connor for putting all the rescued horses (and donkey) with him. We love the care they are getting. This is what rescue is all about .....It usually takes a village.
