pplkpr App Helps You Filter Your Friends In Real Life Part of the conundrum in living in the age of social media is discerning people’s emotional effect on you in real life. If you’ve ever questioned how your relationship with a certain person affects your health, check out pplkpr – a new mobile app that measures your heart rate and stress levels to calculate your most positive and negative encounters. Based on this measurement, pplkpr (pronounced “people keeper”) temporarily blocks the social media profiles of people who increase your stress; as well as schedules appointments with people to whom your body reacts the best. Created by artists Lauren McCarthy and Kyle McDonald, pplkpr was tested amongst the brilliant young minds of Carnegie Mellon’s freshman class – to some staunch support. Enjoy the video above to learn more and download pplkpr on iTunes now.
