protest against shortage of water and unscheduled power cuts student age bureau Jammu, june 09 A massive protest against shortage of water and unscheduled power cuts in Rajpura, Gurha, Shakti Nagar and other adjoining areas of Jammu west constituency was today organized by Talab Tillo Mandal under its Mandal President Ayodhya Gupta and District Jammu Vice-President Sanjay Baru. The party workers were raising slogans against the Congress-NC coalition government and PDD and PHE departments. Morethan three hundreds workers participated in the protest. Ayodhya Gupta said that the government is insensitive and has no concern for the public and their well being. The unscheduled power cuts commence immediately after the darbar move’s to Srinagar, as if the power is also made to effect darbar move to valley. He said that the government is unconcerned about the welfare of the public in this sweltering heat and is mindful of its own comforts and wellbeing. Sanjay Baru warned the departments that they will stage dharna against these departments in the offices in case the power and water supply does not become normal immediately.
