pueblo german american club celebrates the maypole dance at first friday art walk central plaza is full of life again thanks to PUEBLO CPR. thanks to susan fries of pueblo arts alliance, bill zwick of the city of pueblo and countless artists and volunteers. earlier this year, the pueblo arts alliance received a $7,500 grant from the colorado garden foundation for irrigation and landscape of central plaza. the grant award was matched with funding from pueblo urban renewal authority (PURA) and the city of pueblo to begin the initial phase of the project. the project will be completed by first friday art walk june 6. come celebrate pueblo. thanks again to all of the members of the pueblo german american club for helping us celebrate this new gathering place in the heart of downtown.
