putting aside the issue of water rights for one second the shear stupidity, incompetence,and unprofessionalism displayed by the people who structured and created Irish water is breath taking.I mean it really could not be worse.besides the obvious loop holes in the law that WILL eventually be challenged by someone tying up courts and wasting more public money.the turnover that will be created by this company (150 million per year) can never justify the public money spent in setting up this company,in other words there is no way this can be presented as adhering to the very basic business principles.So the question must be asked! whats really going on here? As we well know Fianna Gael TDs are on the run on this,write to them and asked them for an explanation.and asked them at the start not to mentioned providing a clean and safe water supply for further generation kinda bullshit, they had plenty of time and got plenty of public taxes to achieve that in the past.why should we have any confidence in them now judging by their past and recent performances.My opinion? its simple! its the changing of the guard.its the handing over of more national resources into the hands of private foreign investors and getting us to pay for the costs.
