[really a good post] [must read] 1001 male I Mates, this confession is about the situations our family members had to face for an incident that will always haunt our memories. Im from a small town any ours is a joint family. Dad is a contractor, whereas both my uncles run their own stores. That cursed incidend happened on the day of Holi in 1998. My 2nd uncle had lots of friends during his days at college. Many of them would come to our house for playing carrom and for having chit chats. I never knew that two of his friends were U.L.F.A extrimists. They had come to bid adieu as they maintained a cordial and homely relationship with our family. So the night before holi we had a feast. They left and we all slept to celebrate Holi the next day. It is in the mid-morning when we all heard gunfires and there was a hue and cry amongst the people of the town. Indian army at that time was on a operation to remove all kinds of extrimist activities. When we all reached the scene, we acouldnt belive what we saw. Those two uncles were shot dead by Army and another two who came to receive them ran away with injuries. That was the 1st time I saw blood stained people. The Holi was played with blood. We all broke down into tears, but, there lied a bigger misery for our family members. One of my uncles friend who died had our telephone number saved which was 03672-266410 with my uncles name under it. We never knew what Pager was at that time. The Army people found our number from that dead uncles Pager and took all our family members to our home in their Vans for investigation. They firmly believed that we were giving shelter to them. The truth was they were just good friends of my uncle, was like a member of our family and came to our home sometimes for playing carrom or for having foods. My uncle was sentenced to jail for 1 year and our home was under strict survillience for 1 month by those Army people. We had passed our miserably bad time during those days and were shocked to see such ruthless killings. Later we found out that those two dead people were not extrimists, but were linkmen of U.L.F.A. After hectic procedures in court, our innocense was proved and my uncle was released. Finally we were all relieved, but, still those memories gives us pain as we were tortured for no reason. This post is to remind all the readers that Life and Time is Precious, dont waste it just like that. Because you only live once. Thank you for going through it. This is the confession based on a incident on my childhood days. Please post it. Thank you. #toretto: all the best
