requiem for my arrested development which i insist on memorizing but proving nothing while holding a yellow-paged journal tightly against my chest which is filled with wolf-ticket rapture & snake- bitten naiveté. a close-up on pointless praise followed by theoretically questioning nature of evil or does the devil know you by name. attempting to placate furious picking & losing a few fingers in the process. snarling from a place i didnt know was in me. a wounded animal who cant help himself flirting with unlikely point of entry which was mistaken for termination notice. finding kindred artifacts & perpetual panic. overrated destiny would be hard to dispute . lotus blooms then dies in three hours. birthright which isnt acknowledged leaves mangled limbs from two-bit romantic vision. entrails from south of the border wrapped around my neck. pinch myself to make sure i no longer exist lynched mystique isnt wearing rhyme this year. finally come to terms with the fact. sometimes there are no reasonable explanations. sometimes death is only proof positive we were here.
