#review #theconjuring #horror Before I say anything about this one.. tell me.. Do you guys remember a movie called "The Exorcism of Emily Rose"? If yes then you must remember the real chill down your spine when the screen flashed "Based on a true incident" at the end... Well ladies and gentlemen, while watching The Conjuring..you wont have to wait that long... To start off its a movie which as brilliant as any horror movie should be..with the fundamental aspect being it WILL scare you... Trust me. Plot wise nothing special, a haunted house and its occupants tortured by a hateful spirit.. We have seen a lot of them .. right? But this just about as much this film resembles cliched ghost stories. The treatment precise, the script apt, the performances gripping and boy oh boy the sound design, just phenomenal !!... I can only tell this much..It has been 7-8 years since I had watched a horror movie in theater and when it ended I had found hair of my forearms still standing!!! Pros: Everything that constitutes a great horror movie Cons: Predictable ending (but not before you are into last 20 min), last 5 mins the tension goes down few notches Verdict: MUST WATCH ... For people who like horror flicks and believe horror movies are meant to scare you.. yes this for you folks! :) (4.5/5) Special Note: The trick was in the creepy dread about the situation that becomes palpable .. and the note with pictures about the actual family who faced it..well just heightens it!
