salah satu komentar di sana... Days gone by and it’s still a dream, the laughing stock we have become. The disaster of this season was totally glaring from our pre-season matches. Does anyone remember them vividly now? I do. We were appalling against teams that no one had ever heard about. That’s some exaggeration by the way but I figure y’all get the point. Kags especially was dismal.”Stand by your new manager”. I was touting that for a long time. Ah well, I cried at that retirement speech. That’s SAF for you. Chief motivator. In retrospect now, it reminds me of Hitler’s speeches that had simple-minded folks, turn into jew-haters, just because one man said to.David Moyes as a shocking appointment to replace the gaffer. What we gonna do? Well we stood by him but it’s clear this man’s out of his depth here. I am all for continuity and stuff and it’s why I was a little skeptical about Mourinho because the man is clearly a nomad but he is a proven winner. A massive corporation like Manchester United (I know some still wanna be romantic and think of it as just our club), should be looking to build on SAF’s successes. Better our European record which has been disappointing, considering our number of appearances there and trophies won, and then look to further monopolise the league. This season, none of the top four have actually impressed me. They’ve been inconsistent and I somehow fancy the notion that even with just one reinforcement and SAF at the helm still, we’d be probably number @ the moment of 2nd place. This is a rant obviously and I doubt I would make sense but I just wanna let some steam off. This season has been a nightmare. I secretly rejoice when we lose, hoping this would force the board to do the inevitable. I actually believe all that stuff about David Moyes being a good man. So I am hoping someway, he does the honorable thing and tender his resignation and help United save face and keep up the tradition of not firing manager (Some fans think that is our traditions. History says otherwise). I still deeply believe in the goodness of humanity. ”I don’t want anything from Milan so I’m voluntarily having my wages suspended for this period during which I’m not available for the club and the coach. The only thing I ask for is the support to help me make a complete recovery.” That’s a quote from a good man called Ricardo Kaka. #Class.Yes we are glory hunters for wanting glory. Better that than setting yourself up to fail. Winning is a mentality. We’ve been bred with that of recent years. Why switch that and accept mediocrity? By the way, that also is habit. Ask guys who are recovering from substance abuse how difficult habits are to break. That aside, teams no longer fear you when you’ve shown yourself to not self-respect which is already visible with our team. Long and short of it, I think Mr Moyes should be shown the door at the end of the season, preferably, a deal be worked out behind the scenes where he comes out to say he wants to resign and the board doesn’t want to but he feels he has to as he’s got family issues to tend to. (Maybe United can offer him like 10million for that because I doubt anyone would be after his services after this season) God bless Manchester United still.
