seems like almost all the acts at the top of my still waiting to see live list are from scandinavia. this march, ill hopefully be crossing an old one off that list, when danish dreamweavers Mew make the trip to austin for SXSW 2015! they + Hypnotic Brass Ensemble were my two prevailing highlights from the initial announcement of artists, a list that ultimately serves as a reminder of the futility of keeping track of the tsunami of talent that sweeps over central texas every spring. also happy to see Quantic Music on there, and my buddy Kydd getting props from the festival for the second year. brb, currently writing a letter to send overseas to denmark to check if theyll play a show in my backyard....check out an unforgettable tune from the whimsical rockers below (curiously pitch-lowered & slowed-down some), and see if any of the other musicians announced today pique your interest. https://youtube/watch?v=5JoUQ8ty3m0 sxsw/music/festival/2015
