seriously... could they make it any harder??? I had a Best Buy card from many years ago that got closed with an open balance. I have been busting my azz to pay it off anyway - paying extra every month. Last month it gets sold to Citibank (I think all their accounts moved - irrelevant)... So I go to pay my bill online - like I have for the last couple years. Cant register. In order to register I have to know the 3 digits off the back of the card - card was cancelled years ago and I didnt exactly keep it. So online paying is out. So I go to pay by phone... Ya, there is a $7 fee unless I let them do auto-draft from my checking account. But if I do auto-draft I cant pay extra unless I call them - and pay $7. Remind me again why I am busting my ass to pay this off??
