simple LOGIC John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, BUT grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. You dont need anyone to tell you the word BUT means there is no GRACE and TRUTH in the LAW. I will be using mathematical terms and logic to explain this scriptural passage. Using Set theory , if LAW is a subset of Moses but GRACE & TRUTH are subset of Jesus. Since there is no common set between the two so we say the intersection of Jesus and Moses give empty set. Which means it is either LAW by moses or GRACE & TRUTH through Jesus so make your choice today. Oh, should someone ask you to discuss their UNION, I asked Jesus too . He told me No one put a new piece of cloth unto old garment...and no one put a new wine into old bottle Mat 19:16-17. Which means their UNION does not exist USING REAL ANALYSIS: TESTING THE VALIDITY OF JOHN 1:17 THEORY: There is no GRACE & TRUTH in the LAW. PROVE 1 (No GRACE in the LAW). GRACE can be defined as FREE and UNDERSERVED FAVOUR of God(w.r.t God). If u believe that hear what the law says DEUTERONOMY 29:9 Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and DO THEM, THAT YE MAY PROSPER in all that ye do. DEUTERONOMY 27:26 CURSED BE HE THAT CONFIRMETH NOT ALL THE WORDS OF THIS LAW to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen. Looking at these two scriptural passages we say blessing and curse depend on what people do which contradict FREE and UNDERSERVED FAVOUR then we say no GRACE in the LAW. (For more understanding read Romans 4) PROVE 2(No TRUTH in the LAW) What is TRUTH? Anything that conform to fact.(w.r.t Salvation). Hear wat the law say DEUTERONOMY 12:32 WHAT THINGS SOEVER I command you, observe to do it: THOU SHALT NOT ADD THERETO, NOR DIMINISH FROM IT. That means you must be Mr. Do all but there was one young rich man he claimed to be Mr Do all yet he was denied eternal life. Then it is obvious no TRUTH in the LAW since Prove 1 and Prove 2 hold then there is no TRUTH and GRACE in the law. Conclusion , Salvation is a gift nothing more if you can just believe you are not righteous , that Christ paid for your sins, that he died and resurrected u shall be saved but for those that still believe in the law since I have proved to you the intersection and Union set of Moses and Jesus give empty set then: Galatians 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
