since I left Gaza, I got accustomed to checking the news daily to make sure my family and loved ones are O.K. The last few days have been the most stressful though with Israel threatening a full scale military assault as well as continuing to arrest, bombard and kill many innocent people. Spending nights now dreading waking up to awful news like Boxing Day of 2008 and hoping that things will calm down again. But whats calming down? Is it going back again to more settlements built, to the fact that my dad cant even have his heart operation because materials are not allowed into Gaza, that the border continues to be shut so my mother is never able to come and meet my new daughter. Its all shit really, whichever way you look at it.
