slightly concerned regarding a particular police constabulary this morning. We received a letter from them stating despite intensive investigation they are unable to trace the driver of the vehicle who hit scott and I in September then drove off. Despite the fact that a £20 dvla search which I done a few weeks ago showed that the car was sold three weeks prior to our accident and no doubt the police would have checked this out im sure and gotten the name of the new owner, and to which I would potentially say that the new owner of the vehicle was the driver, and despite the fact that if the police bothered to ask us to identify the driver which I could, they have decided to close the investigation. Good job really we werent seriously injured, but although its classed as a hit and run, and there is no record of the car having insurance which i always thought was illegal ?? its obviously not important looking for this guy who is driving without insurance and causing accidents as fining people to raise funds. just my opinion of course lol
