so, jihadi john. a british guy, kills an american guy working to report on a confusing bloody war, kills him as a captice, in a brutal horrific way in exceptionally unfair circumstances. take the religion out of it. but im thinking: you know, in britain i have faced so much predjudice and ill treatment in the 25 years i have lived here as an american. let me say: everyone loves to hate the americans here. and i cant help but wonder if as is being reported, that he grew up in the uk, if that didnt play into this british guys opportunity to cause death and destruction, and his victim: an american. just saying. i havent seen this aspect brought out in the press and im sure it wont because no one would admit it, like no one admits that their stances of anti semitism or other hateful pronunciations cause death and genocide, , but i was thinking about my own life here and thinking: yes, if some people had their opportunity i know they would stick a knife in me. Indeed, many have, though metaphorically (thankfully, though that isnt nice either).
