so let me get this straight, the EDTC is separate from the town, jim likes it and wants to keep it that way, the EDTC is funded by the town , but separate. ok so there is talk about bringing it in house. In business this happens all the time, a company subcontracts , then realizes it can do something cheaper (or better or both) by canceling or not renewing a contract with an outside company. Like say Beam subcontracts the lawn finishes after putting sewers to ABC construction then decides to do it them selves. ABC is let go. Does ABC say we are not going quietly,call beam tweebs. No they are smart enough to shut their mouth if they want to be seen as professional. I am not sure what is going on at the EDTC , but at this point do not need to know. So far promises and goals have not been met, solid staff have left, the public has been told the numbers just did not add up when a deal for the track was inked by the province and EDTC costing the public half a million, a guy the mayor has described as a little rough around the edges negotiates with the province on industrial programs, has charged a councilor privately with conflict of interest and has now said if you try to get rid of me I will not go quietly. Its time to put aside all the 4 shit and take a look. More more hiding behind it , wake up fort erie , you just blew 1/2 million from a bad deal and $600,000 with very little to show for it,$1.1 million in one yr for what? You dont have to like them, but sometimes the 4 are right, Jim dont let the door hit you in the ass, on your way out, thats the only noise you will make.
