so sometime last year, I felt led to buy a Christian book for a teacher/friend who I knew was struggling in his life. At the time, I was on fire in my faith/walk as a new Christian and my motivation was that I wanted him to experience God the way I was: in a very real, powerful and healing way. Oddly I came across a book called Experiencing God- knowing and doing the will of God by Henry Blackaby, Richard Blackaby and Claude King. I bought it but curious, I started to read it myself and immediately had to start writing/highlighting in it; needless to say I ended up keeping it. Since then, the book has sat on my shelf but lately I have felt led to pick it up again so yesterday I finally did. Wow what a good book; had me in good/bad tears this morning. my point to all of this is I am wondering if anyone wants to read it with me. Its a pretty easy read yet speaks such powerful truth, and it has discussion questions at the end of each chapter so I thought it might be cool to do as a group study kind of thing.. check it out and let me know!
