so, this doesnt bother me too much at the moment as I consider it the warm up stage. But, maybe someone here can shed some light on whats happening. Basically, I turn the power on to my US Import Donkey Kong, and wait for around 3-5 mins (3 mins 24 secs in the video), then I get a garbled images, and then finally it all locks in to the place and is lovely jubbly (4 mins 10 sec in the video) - youll notice the boot up screen says NMI Interupt: Bad - no idea what that is. Its definitely nothing to do with the v-synch/scroll/size or the h-synch/scroll/size as no amount of twiddling fixes it. The monitor had a complete clean and recap a few months ago. The monitor image crisp, clean and bright. If I change the brightness to full, the monitor shows a full whiteish blue screen which indicates that the monitor is fine and that the power to the monitor is fine. As you can see, the game plays perfectly fine. The sound is fine. Some people have suggested the power from the 4-layer pcb to the monitor might be the issue (I do have a multi meter, but I dont know how to test this). Some have suggested it could be a cold solder - no idea what that is. Some have suggested its the inverter board. No idea how to test that. Any other suggestions, hints or tips? But like I say, its not bothering me too much at this stage as it plays fine after 5 mins of warming up :) https://youtube/watch?v=X2aQVq8QsLo&list=UU1muKthmCVOVnJqjmqRBhcw
