someone should slap the ever loving shit out of this lady for her uneducated and biast article on pit-bulls. You want negative feedback about ANY breed, you go to the sources that have no good experience with the breed (example dogbites.org regarding pitbulls). There is no reference to any shelters, pitbull organizations, or dog trainers made in this article, hence all the negative input. to say that pitbulls were born to be violent is disgusting, yes people breed them with the intention to fight them but its not in their DNA! The only reason pitbull attacks are so fatal and scarring is because the strength these dogs have. first hand experience; Grovers best friend is a pit, neither of them understand their strength so when they play they tend to leave bite marks on each other, they have no intentions of hurting each other.. And the part that pissed me off the most is how this lady targeted Michael Vicks dogs.. if you read the recovery stories of the dogs they found youd be amazed at where they are now, even given the circumstances they were raised in. a couple of the dogs were so far beyond help, but 12 (i think) were rehomed and now live happy lives with no signs of viciousness! This lady does not deserve a job, i do not consider her an author, and i will never read or buy Time Magazine again. I cannot believe they would publish such trash! The cover dogs face is so beautiful and innocent, he has no idea why hes being targeted.
