sowetanlive.co.za Rabboni Ministries: From making congregants eat grass to jumping on them By Sowetan LIVE | Aug 29, 2014 | COMMENTS [ 69 ]Back to Home123 The controversial Rabboni Centre Ministries is once again the main topic on social media after pictures of a Pastor stepping on church goers emerged. The church led by Pastor Daniel Lesego grabbed headlines earlier this year when it emerged that the congregants had been convinced that eating grass would help them “to get closer to God”.Now pictures showing a Pastor Alex from Soweto jumping on people as they lay on the floor have been published on the church’s Facebook page.“Pastor Alex showed great faith when he paced towards the congregants, who were earlier called to sleep by the Man of God, and stepping and jumping upon them. He was handed a microphone and thereafter the sleeping congregants began to wake up and sleep as he commanded them,” the post explains. This was reportedly after the Ps Alex stood up from the congregation during a Tuesday service and expressed the need perform the same miracles as the ‘Man of God’ (Pastor Lesego). The post also mentioned that Pastor Alex was a first time visitor at Rabboni Centre Ministries, adding that none of the congregants had been injured during the ‘demonstration exercise’.One of the people who had been stepped on, Thandi Alset from Mabopane, reportedly told the congregation that she had not felt a thing through the entire exercise.EMAILTweet RELATED ARTICLES Kenyan pastor bans females from wearing underwear to churchSnake-handling US pastor dies from snake biteZimbabwean church leader gets 50 year sentence for raping congregantsCrazy stories involving church leadersGrass tastes like Macaroni - Church member (VIDEO)Pretoria Pastor convinces congregation to eat grassBACK TO TOP COMMENTS [ 69 ] Login OR Join up TO COMMENT MommaC Then people wonder why I think religion is stupid!ReplyREPORT ABUSEAug 29, 2014 10:23 | 3 replies Candra lady thats why you must follow Jesus and not religion heyReplyREPORT ABUSEAug 29, 2014 10:36 | 5 replies BlackStarLiner Precise answerReplyREPORT ABUSEAug 29, 2014 10:40 | 0 replies maneater the people need to learn that everything and everyword preached in the church need to be confirmed by the bible. if you do not meditate on the word and you rely on the preacher then you will be used. my advice to all the people no matter how powerfull is the pastor test what he is teaching you, i will listen on the radio!ReplyREPORT ABUSEAug 29, 2014 10:55 | 0 replies MommaC Hate to break the news to you but, the christian church is based on Jesus.ReplyREPORT ABUSEAug 29, 2014 11:21 | 0 replies uTeddy Believing in Jesus and seeing the need to be saved for some reason, IS RELIGION! You should follow God your creator and cut the middle man. uJesu passed away cos he was a man and God lives forever and ever amen. Why speak to the spirit of the son when you can communicate directly with the father himself? As for pastors, reverends, preachers, deacons I really dont know what is their business.ReplyREPORT ABUSEAug 29, 2014 1:16 | 0 replies MamaNia Religion is not the problem. Cults are. Faith is practiced in religion, the same way tradition is practiced in culture. This pastor here, has started a cult.ReplyREPORT ABUSEAug 29, 2014 12:47 | 0 replies Mr.Rise Wena Momma C umhedeni :-)ReplyREPORT ABUSEAug 29, 2014 1:32 | 0 replies Mshovekahle Banyathele mfundisi banamademonReplyREPORT ABUSEAug 29, 2014 10:24 | 2 replies ChunkuBabyOil Uyadakwa lomfundisi idemon liphethe yenaReplyREPORT ABUSEAug 29, 2014 10:58 | 2 replies Hutton i dont know what to believe in anymore, Mboro, Sono, Kotu etcReplyREPORT ABUSEAug 29, 2014 11:21 | 1 replies mgijimi believe in God and leave the restReplyREPORT ABUSEAug 29, 2014 1:40 | 0 replies Mr.Rise Hawu!
