When Emma (Anna Acton) bumps into DI Keeble, she is shocked to receive a career lifeline from her - but it involves getting her hands dirty in the Lucy Beale murder investigation once again. Emma is troubled when she is tasked with obtaining the laptop given her close ties with the Brannings. She is initially unsure over what to do for the best but eventually decides to give Keeble what she wants. Emma gives Laurens laptop to Keeble. Emma gives Laurens laptop to Keeble Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa) will be stunned when she learns that Emma has betrayed her by seizing the computer, and as detectives pore over the evidence, something comes to light which she has to try to explain. When fingers are then pointed in Whitney Deans direction, suspicion and accusations begin to spiral out of control and Emma has to investigate further as Lauren and Lee clash over the recent events.
