still missing. Please help find Rupert! 4yo Chihuahua male - chocolate tri colour. Missing since Saturday 30th August 1.30pm. Possibly stolen. Description Rupert was let out for a quick run around with my other dogs just before 1.30pm on Saturday the 30th of August 2014. I turned my back on the lot of them for all of a minute. I then realised Rupert wasnt with the girls. My partner Daniel & I called all around for him, he was nowhere to be seen. We searched all around the property and roads extensively. Since he went missing, we have put posters all over and in surrounding villages. We have put hundreds of leaflets through doors and emailed loads of local companies and radio stations. We have called into pubs and restaurants to ask if hes been seen. I have called every vet I can think of in the area and surrounding areas. Also dog wardens and shelters. Nobody has him. We have endlessly searched for him. Even at night time. A kind lady even bought a sniffer dog to us to try and find him. With no joy. She did lead us to a new area - which we have also extensively searched with no luck. On the 5th of September we received an email saying Rupert was seen on the day he went missing, at 1.30pm. On the A616 in the village of Ompton near Newark Nottinghamshire. A young slim lady with fair hair, apparently pulled up in what was described as a small two seater mg type dark sports car, possible green. She was seen attempting to catch him. There was another car pulled up near her, facing the same way towards Wellow. And apparently another car pulled up on the opposite side of the road facing Newark too. If this lady picked up Rupert, I believe he has been stolen, as at this point it is almost 7 days since he went missing and nobody has handed him in A gentleman in Bilsthorpe Nottinghamshire thought he sighted Rupert on Bilsthorpe Park on the 4th of September. So we have followed this up by heavily leafleting and postering the area. And we have also searched it, again with no joy If you have any information about Rupert and his where abouts, please let us know. A cash reward will be given for his safe return. The Police are aware and investigating. I have owned Rupert since a young puppy and this is extremely uncharacteristic for him. He wouldnt just run off, I miss him so much. Please help get him back. No questions asked - we just want his safe return! If he is stolen, lets make him too hot to handle!! Thanks so much people xxxx
