Personal Assistants provide all aspects of direct care and individualized treatment for individuals with developmental disabilities, maintaining a safe and healthy environment and meeting consumers needs. A variety of shifts are available, including evenings, overnights and weekends. Starting salary is $9 per hour. In these positions you’ll be providing personal assistance to consumers, including bathing, personal hygiene, toiletry and dressing; administering all oral and topical medications to consumers in accordance with instructions; completing inventories of consumers clothing and personal items; and completing daily documentation in a complete, timely and thorough manner. Household tasks include cleaning, laundry, cooking and light housekeeping. Must be able to lift and transfer, either manually or using an assistive device.
