that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly. Matt 6:4 Have you ever been misunderstood or misjudged? It happens to us all. Actions or words are misread, or more is read into them than is really there. Even if it comes from someone who doesnt know us well it is disappointing. If it is someone who should know us better it can be very painful. We need to keep the golden rule in mind when we are ready to say or judge someone for what ever reason. I urge everyone to not be quick to judge or take offense. I include myself in this. God knows our intentions of the hearts of men. We can make no such claim with certainty. It will be a sad sad day for the accuser of a innocent on the day they realize that they were innocent of the accusations raised against him. There will be words of forgiveness but there will also be the realization of the needless separation and loss. It may not be until they are home in Heaven that this is understood. The small comforts you can take when you have been misjudged is that you know in your heart of hearts that you are innocent, and that you will be vindicated even if only after this life is over. If something doesnt seem reasonable, then it probably isnt. Pray and be patient. Talk to the Mr A. in your life. If there is a problem that can be resolved you will have saved your friendship, business partnership or marriage. If there is a problem does their concern have merit? In the book of John we are urged to love one another, we are cautioned and warned against divisions and selfish arguments. We need to think before we open our mouth and when someone tries to spread gossip we refuse to be caught up in such bad behavior. Know that God sees the heart - yours and mine.
