the first batch I raised about 8 years ago ..gold & Koi I did do this with...they would come up as soon as they heard e calling..I had trouble cleaning the filters cause they were all in my way..then some butt head urinated in my fish pond & all 18 were floating upside down one morning...trust me I cried & cried...the pet store said that because they were used to being handles & hand fed they all came to the side & must have been urinated directly on..the water tested extremely high so it was not a dog or animal..it was a cruel sadistic human... Hey I have some now that are not even an inch long yet..some new ones..
