the longer i am a photographer the more i move away liking fake sunlight, fake clouds, fake anything in portraits. i mean i see photographs with those elements and they are visually appealing and quite artistic, but theres just something about a photograph that holds the beautiful reality of the moment you captured. perhaps its just my taste, but when i take a picture of my daughter on a beach, i dont want to see a fake sunset…i want to remember how that moment looked just as we were in it. so what are your thoughts on this as a photographer and artist? just some fun wednesday night conversation for those up late editing tonight!
