the problem most people find with time travel is paradox. what they fail to note (usually) is that our lives everyday are filled with tons of paradox that we quite capably ignore. the structure of existence will not fall apart from time travel. the only thing that could do so is the tidy picture most people like to believe is the way the world exists, which never has, and never will, but makes a nice story to write in books.
