the problem of the narrow angle lens providing a restricted image - TopicsExpress

the problem of the narrow angle lens providing a restricted image could possibly be solved in software. As the accelerometer/magnetometer are moved in orientation as the person moves, e.g. vigorous sports, every time a movement detected, this can capture an image, which can then later (offline/cloud power) be autostitched into a panoramic wide angle image. Gyros are useful for left/right detection. A system like this could use all the multiple and at the moment redundant, sky views, etc, to get a decent life logging experience. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image_stitching
