there is no other reason... to enable the owner, the person with the concept, to earn a living for their self and their family. All else is extra benefits... like if you have enough profit to fund local charities or other altruistic endeavors... however, without the profits, without the business concept, without taking the financial risk of failure to start up the business, no one would be hired, no one would have a job... it is IMMORAL to expect those who are willing to do all this to give you more without you making the effort to improve yourself... Danny Ebersold the EASY thing is to blame the rich, and then to lump all business owners into one group (rich people) and then ignore that the reality of our life, our economy, is that most business owners are not filthy rich, but all levels of economic classes, many who are moral, ethical, socially concerned and contribute to charity with their profits. The hard thing to do, but the RIGHT and MORAL thing to do is to look at each individual to find the source of why they, as an individual, are not doing well in life. Our nation was founded on the concept that individual rights trump anything within any type of government. Individual sovereignty and the rights that are inherent in that also comes with individual responsibility which includes doing everything and anything within your power to not be a dredge on society or to cause other people harm and that includes economic harm due to being a leech upon society. Again, it is easy to blame someone else, like an imaginary rich person and then use that blame to push policies via government mandate to assist you on the easy path where if you can find someone or something to blame then the tax payers should pay, those evil rich people should be punished... Danny Ebersold if we did not believe, as a founder of our nation, in individual rights to include ownership of property and businesses then we would have been nothing more than a copy of the system of government that the founders ran away from, risked death for, and revolted from. Were we to not have individual rights, individual property ownership and the individual responsibility that goes with those rights we are NOTHING more than serfs or slaves to the government. And that is where we are headed.
