these days, everyone is familiar with the many different types of entertainment that are available to us, from sports and video games to movies, stand up comedy and music. and we all have our personal favorites; the most popular forms of entertainment (if i had to guess) are probably movies and music. and people tend to watch certain actors they like, and listen to a specific genre of music. and in the business of entertainment, we have movie stars and rock stars, and superstar atheletes etc... usually these so called stars achieve that title because they are considered to be the best, either theyre the most talented or the most popular or the most powerful, and youre supposed to believe they are extraordinary for that... but rarely are they considered a superstar for having true admirable human qaulities such as compassion, empathy, and honesty. real stars can be found a little bit closer to home, not on the big screen or big stage. i was fortunate enough to know someone truly extraordinary. william was an extremely talented musician/songwriter, in studio- he usually played all the instruments for his songs.. and he was an awesome performer when he played live.. i can remember being on stage with him when we were in a band together with our friends and he would literally shed his blood, sweat and tears for every performance, and put his heart and soul in to every song... but more importantly, he put his heart and soul into being the best friend, brother, and son to his family and those closest to him. i am a better person for having known him. he will be missed but never forgotten.
