this indian summer weather of mid 70 degree days in late October, certainly does not bring my mind into any realm remotely of the christmas holiday season. as a kid some of my best memories were that of thanksgiving day with all the family and turkey and fixings.family, friendship & fellowship. followed by the next day with the unveiling of all the festive holiday decorations in department stores and on washington avenue. Today the media and all of the commercialism of the upcoming 2 months spoils what would have been very similar memories for todays generation of youth. i am glad i grew up when i did. just sharing my rambling thoughts of the day. peace~ joe
