this is a SAD SAD SAD DAY!!!! So back in 2004, I went to a cd release/ listening party for an Artist named Rahsaan Patterson, whom I absolutely adore. Well, anyway it was ALREADY a blessing to be in the building...and then I walk in and see, check this.. Ledisi Rachelle Ferrell and Lalah Hathaway singing BACKUP....Yes, you read right BACKUP For him.. with Jubu Smith on bass....maaaaaaaaaaan I WAS IN MUSIC HEAVEN....but what I am sad about is, I was one of the lucky ones and I received a gift bag that had a silver bracelet inside. I said to myself, classy and I put it on. I only have taken it off twice, when I had both my children....well.. it broke today..... DAMNIT MAN!! anyway, it was a great freakin show! and my girl Iam Octavia got to SANG for him... it was a great day....
