this is a picture of a Gloster Meteor the first ever figher jet to be put in to service by the united nations in south korea against the communist north my Grandfather flew these bad boys in korea against the Russian mig supplied to the communist north.....he was in the famous Australian 77th squadron and survived the conflict and was decorated 3 times once by the united nations once by Australia and by the south Koreans after it was all over he came back home and flew for the famous roulettes as a back up pilot and then asked to join full time but he had just started a crop dusting business so declined and was a crop duster for many years based in Toowoomba Queensland .by the way his name is Keith Gordon hill and I am so proud of him. he is still alive and still lives in Toowoomba ,still lives by himself and is in perfect health at 88 years of age and still drives himself to golf 3 times a week for a hit !!! what an amazing man love ya pops xxx
