this is my dog jenny, she is a 12 year old german wired hair pointer. She was my dads dog until he passed away in a house fire. We arent sure how jenny survived but i tried to keep her for as long as i could. im headed to the landing school and cant take her with me. the german pointers are bird dogs. jenny is definitely a bird dog! she is afraid of guns, loud noises, and strangers. she alerts you if someone pulls in the drive way or is at the door. she isnt one of those stupid yappy small dogs we all wish could just go back to california. let me tell you how she is with cats, well she loves em in the house atleast. dont leave her out side with one unless you dont want your cat anymore. dont let her anywhere close to chickens trust me chicken massacre. she is fine with other dogs she doesnt like to play much with them. she loves car rides wont get on the seat!!! shes happy doing what ever you do. she runs along the tractor, four wheelers, snowmobiles, the trucks when we go mudding. jenny is a lap dog and only truly responds to one person. it takes her awhile to come around to new people. she recently found a stuffed turtle that she carries around. when i commuted to school for a semester i would either take her, or leave her in the house. she is a gem! you can pick her up and carry her like a baby. doesnt chew things, just dont leave the trash out. if you cant get her to come entice her to go for a car ride by opening the door. i normally feed her at night other wise she will poop on the floor, good news tho she only seems to poop on hard wood!! dont get me wrong i love this dog! but i just cant keep her. i have dog food, a water tank, harness, a few leashes, collar, her dog bed, and the turtle i talked about. looking for a good home for her any suggestions?? thanks picture 1 jenny with sock, picture 2 jenny hiding from the auto car wash, picture 3 jenny on rangeley lake, picture 5 jenny with my chicken named dylan..
